Meet The Artist, Margeve Horgan

I am Margeve, the ladysmith behind the shiny treasures that led you here! After moving to the Pacific NW from Northern California, the artist that has always lived inside began to truly blossom. I embarked on this silversmithing journey being driven by a passion to offer stunning pieces that I, too, once yearned for but couldn’t find within my budget. The desire to create something beautiful and authentic led me to gather pieces of broken jewelry, envisioning a future where they would be transformed into new creations.

The jewelry I create aims to serve as everyday adornments, embracing the inner beauty we all possess, while making a statement that is both authentic & timeless.

My mission with Gev Gems is simple—to make everyone feel deserving of beautiful jewelry crafted from genuine sterling silver and natural stones. I genuinely care about the quality of everything I create and source my materials directly from miners supporting ethical practices.

I work primarily with sterling silver, high-quality turquoise, opals, and other natural stones. I specialize in captivating bohemian-inspired jewelry. My creative process begins with placing the stone as the focal point and weaving intricate details and elements to bring it to life. Each piece is crafted with longevity in mind, ensuring durability and comfort, so you can confidently wear it every day and pass it down for generations.
